A lighter look at racism in Britain

An astute observer of British life once said: “If you see a white man dashing down the street, he is running to catch a bus. If it’s a black man sprinting, he must be running away from the police.”

Letters to the Editor

I have recently come across some interesting information about the Jains of India which although may not be substantiated, nevertheless, I would like to share it with the readres of AV.

Over the years I was silently observing your hard work towards the direct flights from London to Ahemdabad ,on this particular subject there are no nominees it's only one winner and that is Sir CB Patel.

I have noticed that invariably there are eight or so letters published in the Readers’ Voice column of Asian Voice, therby completely filling up page 10 of any one edition of AV.

I write with reference to the exceptional 'desh sewa' by Ekal Abhiyan (page 6, AV 21 November 2015) where they reach out to the community and change the lives of the young girls there by educating them.

HMRC had issued this consultation paper in March 2015. The paper envisages that by early 2016 5 million small businesses and 10 million individuals will have access to a secure personalised digital tax account.

I read your newspaper every week with enthusiasm and wait to receive your paper every Friday, but below are my comments, although I am giving you my full address its only for you and not for public, I will be a regular writer in your columns.
