Two men are being hunted by the police after they attacked a 45-year-old man when he was stepping out of a lift in a Birmingham tower block. The victim, yet anonymous, was punched and kicked so he fell to the floor and his pockets could be rifled through. However the thugs, pictured in CCTV footage, found nothing and fled the scene empty-handed. Police are asking anyone who has information about the incident which took place in Clydesdale Tower in Holloway Head around 6pm on the 16th of November, to come forward immediately.
A spokesperson for the Birmingham Central Investigation Team stated: “We want to hear from anyone who recognises the men pictured as they are people we would very much like to speak to in connection with this attack.” Both men have been described as in their late twenties, one of Asian origins while the other was mixed-race. If you have info for this case or the Hussein incident, please contact the Birmingham Central Investigation Team by dialling 101 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
