Ritisha a Year 7 student of the renowned King Edward VI High School for Girls in Birmingham, has also won an academic scholarship and the prestigious foundation scholarship in the entrance examination of the school. Her major achievements began as early as 2016, when she won the UK National Junior Language Challenge Championship at the age of 9 years and as part of the £5000 prize money visited a school in Malawi, Africa. She topped the Birmingham Grammar School Consortium examination in 2017 by obtaining the highest marks recorded in the history of the examination till date.
However, Ritisha balances her academic life with cultural and musical life. She regularly takes part in cultural activities including Bengali recitations all over UK. From performing in the London City Pavilion before an audience of more than 2000 to showcasing her recitations and musical talent on television streaming live worldwide, there is no end to her accolades. Ritisha is on the highest grades of viola, violin, piano and singing and a member of the orchestra in the highly acclaimed Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She also plays in the school Symphony Orchestra and is part of the school choir. She has won several competitions in Music and Speech festivals. In the future she wants to be an entrepreneur.
