Is Labour Institutionally Hinduphobic?

Since 2010 I have been writing about the Labour Party showing signs of being anti-Hindu, anti-India and Hinduphobic. They hid this well for many years using smoke and mirrors to show one face to hoodwink the voters, whilst in reality it was working on the very opposite.

This week we saw one of the most outrageous racist, and in my view Hinduphobic, attacks on PM Rishi Sunak. The Labour Party put out a national advert which alleged that Rishi did not think adults convicted of child sex assaults should go to prison. Every sane person would find such grotesque false attacks unacceptable. If you are not sick to your core over what Labour has done, then I suggest you look in the mirror and you will see a nefarious person.

We can understand why Labour is lying. Afterall, recently we saw the Prime Minister and Suella Braverman come out fighting for the victims of Pakistani grooming gangs who were responsible for the sexual exploitation of thousands of white working-class girls. Instead of supporting the government, the Labour made despicable allegations against the Prime Minister to deflect attention. I can understand why they lied, after all the truth is that these Pakistani grooming gangs thrived in Labour controlled authorities. Did you know it was the Labour leader Keir Starmer who was the Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 till 2013? And it was during his tenure that the sentencing criteria for sex offenders was created, the very same criteria the courts are following today. So, the man responsible for the mess, Keir Starmer, is now making derogatory allegations against the Prime Minister, the very person who is fighting for the victims of these grooming gangs.

You may recall, we saw Labour attack Priti Patel when she was the Home Secretary. At that time, I had warned people that this was just a start of the Labour policy of attacking Indians and Hindus. Last week we saw how Labour threw out Hindu councillors in Leicester because they dared to question the bigoted leadership that was appeasing to the Islamists.

The racism of those on the left is rampant today. We have seen evidence of this even in our academic institutions. I brought this to your attention in 2015 when Oxford University, without any reason, cancelled an event to be attended by an elected Indian politician, Dr Subramanium Swamy. We have seen many examples of such racist and Hinduphobic behaviour at many of our leading universities. More recently, readers will remember how Rashmi Samant was harassed, bullied, and hounded out of her democratically elected position as President of Oxford University Students Union. So, is it any wonder that this week we have seen another Hindu, Karan Kantaria of London School of Economics, who was ejected from the students’ union elections? And yet again the same issue of anti-India and anti-Hindu appears to be the at the centre of the controversy.

Hinduphobia, like antisemitism, is now becoming mainstream. There is a clear pattern by those who are exercising this racist behaviour. They are from the left, they are appeasers of Islamists and sympathisers of Khalistanis, and those who have some aversion to India, Indians, and Hindus. In effect these people have taken over from the very far right and have become the racists of the 21st Century.

I would urge the Secretary of State, The Rt Hon Gillian Keegan MP to instigate an investigation into the rise of Hinduphobia in our higher educational institutions. Public funds are being used to promote discrimination, surely that must be unacceptable and illegal.

I would ask the Secretary of State, The Rt Hon Suella Braverman KC MP to put in place a definition of Hinduphobia and anti-Hindu behaviour so all public bodies can be better informed to root out this form of racism.

I would also ask each one of you, when will you realise that today’s Labour Party is anti-India, anti-Hindu and uses Hinduphobia to further its political ambitions?
