Mohammed Member (25), Shafiq Member (29), and Fatima Patel (27), were charged with the murder of an unidentified woman in her 50s, whose body was found in a property in Leicester. The three are due to appear in court.
The formal identification of the deceased woman is yet to take place and the police have not revealed any further information about how the woman died.
On Saturday 12th December, at about 9:30am, officers were called by the paramedics to Holmfield Avenue, where the woman's body was found. Nearby roads were closed as forensic and crime officers searched the area for further evidence, while also doing house-to-house inquiries.
A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous said, “It is dreadful and shocking. You hear about things happening on the news but you don't expect something like this to happen in your street. It is too close to home.”
The three suspects who were arrested on suspicion of murder live on Holmfield Avenue, and are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court.
