Teenager gunned down motorist in horror road rage attack

A teenager has been jailed for 14 years after pulling out a shotgun and shooting a motorist in a horrifying road rage attack in Birmingham.

Abbas Khan, 19, gunned down Abu Taher after the pair had clashed in George Arthur Road, Alum Rock, after a minor traffic incident.

The shot victim, 29, needed emergency surgery to save his arm from being amputated and is now disabled.

Birmingham Crown Court heard the weapon used had never been found by police, but they did recover CCTV of the incident.

Khan previously admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing a firearm with intent.
