The Leicestershire Police have charged six men in connection to an East Leicester attack in August last year. 27-year-old Mustafa Shirzad of Melton Road has been charged with an offence under Section 4 of the Public Order Act, for possession of offensive weapon and assault.
41-year-old Mohammed Coachi has also been charged with an offence under Section 4 of the Public Order Act and possession of offensive weapon. Others include Mirwais Khan, 27, Yousaf Khan, 24, Talhah Khan, 20, and Hashim Khan, 29, of Lockerbie Avenue, Rushey Mead, Leicester.
The charges relate to an incident on 17 August when a 29-year-old man sustained injuries to his arm after he was assaulted with a metal pole in Melton Road.
