A man appeared in court today charged with raping a university student six years ago.
Ibrahim Elamin, of Hibbert Street, Manchester, appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court accused of raping the 19-year-old man on the campus of Loughborough University in February 2010.
The 34-year-old was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Crown Court in December, according to Leicestershire Police.
