Local entrepreneur becomes face of renowned American brand

A very talented, local entrepreneur has taken the media world by storm by becoming the face of the renowned American brand 'Future Cut Cloths', which is based in New York and Chicago and Nottinghamshire in the UK.

Kiran Rai recently auditioned for more than 2000 models worldwide and got selected to be the face of the brand, meanwhile leading the Shanghai Fashion week in Dubai with five Russian super models and had a chance to meet the Abu Dhabi Prince.

23-year-old Kiran has also recently become the UK editor of an international magazine, adding to his already impressive portfolio. He was seen in Warwickshire last month shooting for the first cover of the online fashion and arts magazine, he is launching next year called Kings and Queens. The online magazine will also have American, Sri Lankan and Middle Eastern editions.

Kiran was born in Nottingham, but spent much of his time growing up at his aunty and uncle’s house in Waveley Road, Spon End.

Already a star in Latin America, Kiran is represented by the IC Talent agency which has also represented the Jackson 5, Tina Turner and Diana Ross. He has appeared in numerous music Videos and Adverts and worked alongside actors Kulvinder Ghir and Ameet Chana of goodness Gracious Me fame.

His worldwide campaign shoots have involved working alongside Oscar nominated actor Oris Erhuero and supermodel Ruth Oti.

Speaking to Asian Voice, Rai said, "I am very excited to be in this position, it's amazing experience and I'm thrilled it's finally happened to me.

“I was modelling for duke clothing for many years but there new brand future is more urban and has more fashion inside the brand.

“I'm 23 years old and travelling the world doing what I love, it's amazing that someone like me can achieve this. I'm very humbled."
