Accountant stole £325,000 from charity to fund lavish lifestyle

A top executive who stole £325,000 from a social housing charity to buy a chain of sandwich bars and fund a lavish lifestyle has been jailed. Accountant Lakhbir Jaspal created a bogus firm to steal money from the West Bromwich-based Accord Group – even though he earned £147,000 a year as deputy chief executive.
