Signs of a problematic gut you should not ignore

The complexity of our digestive system and its effects on overall well-being is a topic of increasing research in the medical community. For example, thousands of studies in the past two decades link gut issues with mental health, autoimmune diseases, skin conditions and the immune system.

The gut shares a special connection with the brain. If there are more bad bacteria than good bacteria in the gut, there is an imbalance that may make us more prone to multiple health issues, which is why doctors always advise us to keep our gut health in the best shape.

You can have the healthiest diet on the planet; however, if your gut does not match your food intake, it will not digest the good. Therefore, to heal any ailment or imbalance in your body, you should think of your gut health before anything else.

Ayurveda believes poor gut health is the cause behind most diseases, and it is essential to fix gut health to manage these imbalances or illnesses. There are a couple of signs that could tell if the gut is unhappy.
