According to a study conducted by scientists, spending time with your friends could be beneficial for your health as it is more likely to pass on friendly bacteria.

Friendly bacteria is found in the gut, where they help break down food, fight infections, synthesise vitamins and train the immune system.

Lead author Andrew Moeller, from the University of Texas said, “The more diverse people's microbiomes are, the more resistant they seem to be to opportunistic infections.”
