An evening on the legacy of Shirdi Sai

To commemorate the Centenary Year of the Mahasamadhi of Shri Sai, on 18 November, 2017, Shirdi Sai Global Foundation in association with Shri Shirdi Sai Sansthan (UK) organised a cultural evening, comprising different Indian classical dance forms and music, in London. The event was organised at Shri Sanatan Hindu Mandir Wembley, London.

Dr. C.B. Satpathy ji graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, United Kingdom), Mr. Bhagwanji Chohan (Mayor of Brent), Mr. Muhammed Butt (Leader of Brent Council) and other dignitaries also attended the event. At the event, Mr. Chohan felicitated Dr. Satpathy ji for his humanitarian and philanthropic contributions in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.

The attractions of the evening included scintillating dance performances like Kuchipudi, Odissi, Bharatanatyam and other dance forms representing different parts of India. Some of the dance performances were based on the lyrics written and music composed by Dr. Satpathy ji.
