NEW YORK: The 2023 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award ceremony is scheduled to present the prestigious 2023 Pinnacle Award to Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation. This yearly event, which was started by the Asian American Business Development Centre (AABDC), honours Asian American CEOs and professionals who have had a significant impact in their respective industries.
The award ceremony, which will take place in September will honor Subramaniam, along with 50 other Asian American executives who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in their careers. The Pinnacle Award is the highest honor presented at the event.
Earlier this year, Subramaniam was bestowed with the 2023 Horatio Alger Award, an accolade presented to esteemed individuals who have overcome adversity to achieve both professional and personal success. In order to study at Syracuse University and acquire a master's in chemical engineering, Subramaniam emigrated to the US in 1987. He received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991, and later that same year, he started his remarkable career at FedEx as an associate analyst.
He has worked for FedEx for more than three decades, has become a recognised global leader for his astute commercial acumen and unflinching commitment to globalisation. His strategic contributions and vision have been crucial to FedEx's success, and his leadership is helping the corporation lead the transformation in the logistics and transportation sectors.
