Karachi: Atrocities are happening on Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan. Their minor girls are being targeted. Sunita Munawwar, a Hindu girl living in Sindh, was burnt after throwing acid on her face. At the same time, a Hindu girl named Sapna has been abducted by Muslim youths from Mirpurkhas city of Pakistan. Even after complaining to the police, no clue has been found.
Sunita is seriously injured in the acid attack. She lost the sight of her right eye. Her face and both hands were severely burnt due to acid. Karachi’s Area Magistrate Fryer Khan recorded her statement.
According to Sunita, she was being harassed by a Muslim youth, Kamran. He used to behave indecently with her. She had complained about this to Kamran’s family. Angered by this, Kamran threw acid on Sunita to take revenge.
The incident occurred when she was returning home from work. When she was sitting at the bus stand in Karachi, Kamran threw acid on her face. Sunita was admitted to the hospital, but there was no improvement in her condition. Police registered a case, but no arrest was made.
In another incident, a 16-year-old Hindu girl Sapna was abducted by Muslim youths from Mirpurkhas town. Sapna was abducted when she was returning from Mirpurkhas post office. Even after informing the police, no clue that Sapna could be found.
