India's Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the UK's Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have announced the expansion of their partnership, which is valued at more than 800 million pounds over a five-year period, according to statements from the two Tata Group companies.

Within the framework of this extended partnership, TCS, India's leading IT services exporter, will provide a wide range of services to the vehicle manufacturer. These services will encompass application development and maintenance, cloud migration, cybersecurity, and data services.

JLR and TCS have a history of collaboration dating back to 2012, and their partnership continues to evolve.

In recent months, TCS has secured several significant deals and contract renewals worth millions and billions of dollars. These successes come at a time when concerns about client spending cuts in crucial markets like the United States and Europe have been looming.

Notably, TCS inked a $1.1 billion contract with the British pension scheme Nest in June. Meanwhile, rivals like Infosys sealed three deals between June and August, and HCL Technologies secured a $2.1 billion deal with the US telecom major Verizon last month.
