Stubborn MPs refuse to vacate London homes

MPs are refusing to vacate their London flats rented out with help from the taxpayer during the summer recess. MPs say it would “misleadingly suggest” they do not do any parliamentary work over the summer holidays. Taxpayers pay £7 million annually for the MPs London accommodation.
