Kumbaka, the 29 stone gorilla that caused widespread panic to visitors of London Zoo when it escaped from its enclosure, drunk nine pints of undiluted blackcurrant squash, an internal investigation found. After its escape through two security doors which were unlocked, the silverback gorilla raided its food store and drank over five times its daily ration of squash.
