Hard up NHS denies treatment to smokers and obese patients

Cash-strapped NHS bodies are openly denying smokers and obese patients treatment to try and save money, leading royal medical colleges have warned. They describe in a letter the policies to restrict or deny to these patients as ‘discriminatory' and called on NHS England to intervene.
