A 13-year-old schoolboy, Petri Kurti stamped a woman to death before stealing her jewellery. He became one of the youngest people in Britain to be given a life sentence for murder yesterday.

Kurti kicked Glynis Bensley (47), in the face so hard, leaving a shoe-print on her cheek before she bled to death on the pavement in the West Midlands.

Kurti and his accomplice, Zohed Majid, who was 20 at the time, attacked the charity worker after she left the Seven Stars pub in Smethwick late in September 2014.

Kurti was found guilty of murder and ordered to serve a minimum of 12years in jail — a life sentence for a youth. On the other hand, Zohen Majid was found guilty of robbery and manslaughter, however, he was cleared of murder. He was sentenced to ten years in a young offender institution for the manslaughter with seven years to run simultaneously for the robbery.
