A woman in her 40s was surrounded by a group of up to five men before being slapped and sexually assaulted during a terrifying attack in Hounslow.
The victim was approached by a gang of Asian men as she walked through Hounslow in the evening of 6th May 2015.
Scotland Yard revealed that one of the gang members slapped and then sexually assaulted the victim quite close to Hounslow East tube station.
A representative of Scotland Yard further stated, "There was a short verbal exchange between the suspect and victim whilst the rest of the group closed in on her. The main suspect then made further physical contact with the victim."
Detective Sergeant Jason McElroy said, "We are keen to trace one witness in particular who is described as an Asian man who had been in close proximity to the victim at the time of the incident. This was clearly a distressing incident for this victim who was intimated and assaulted along a route which she routinely walks."
All of the men involved are described as Asian. The main suspect is described to be around 25-29 years of age and approximately 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing dark trousers and a white t-shirt.
Enquiries are ongoing and the police have not made any arrests as of yet.
