Kids in England among the unhappiest in the world

According to a research project conducted by the charity, Children's Society, and the University of York, reported in the Good Childhood report, children in England are considered among the unhappiest in the world, feeling worse about going to school everyday, compared to children in Ethiopia, Algeria and Romania.

It is said that the pressure of looking good, as well as bullying which is making English children feel miserable with their lives.

The research had examined experiences of 53,000 children between the age of 10 and 12 from 15 countries.

In England, girls were more than twice as likely as boys to express that they were unhappy with their bodies. This immense gender difference was not found in many other countries surveyed.
