An Extensive Real Estate exposure enveloping all concepts and segments with the evolution of Real Estate in the past 18 years from the basic ground level to the top most level. The advantage of having worked with the best brands in Real Estate and related industry have provided me with a unique insight of Real Estate Industry trends both at the macro and micro level. A top management experience of past 10 years in India and overseas has given me a thorough understanding of the markets for execution of projects and business model formulation.

Salil have maintained good ethical, transparent and discipline work attitude and maintain a team culture with equal opportunities for my colleagues.  Highly energetic, an ability to solve complex problems, exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to excellence are my key strengths.

1) Which place or city or country do you most feel at home in?

Gosh… Always been a Delhi boy, but now based in London.

2) What are your proudest achievements?

Of course, my family and being married to Priya my wife and our two boys Aarav & Aayush. Besides this workwise, I love a lot when colleagues keep telling me they are proud to work for ASSET INDIA and the new things they learn being a part of our team.

3) What inspires you?

I get inspired by a lot of things around me, particularly people who have the determination to succeed despite all the odds. I am much more inspired by the kind of people who strive to help others without any personal gain / benefit. Besides this work wise, I like to listen to customers their problems they face and the solutions we provide with ease and in return their trust in us inspires me a lot. Chatting with people of different backgrounds and industries continue to help me shape and formulate new ideas towards the growth of our business.

4) What has been the biggest obstacle in your career?

Obstacles are mere excuses. Every obstacle is cyclical as is life. We all have ups and downs in life. It all depends how we deal with it. I believe the biggest obstacle is myself, knowing that I am capable of achieving so much more, yet underplaying myself.

5) Who has been the biggest influence on your career to date?

Without any doubt it has to be my parents, and of course my wife Priya for providing me with a stability and support at home which has absorbed many of the stresses of a busy working life.

6) What is the best aspect about your current role?

The freedom to take the business to the next level and the opportunity to make ASSET INDIA a global brand among the Non Resident Indians within UK & Europe. Besides this I enjoy the flexibility and frequent travelling where I get to meet and interact with a lot of new people.

7) And the worst?

In the past there had been instances where our customers were being let down by the builders whom we work with. However with the new regulations such as RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Act) & GST in place, this will bring an increased amount of transparency to the Reality Sector which in the future will be beneficial to all our customer(s).

8) What are your long term goals?

To be a good husband, dad and more importantly make time for friends. On the business front it is enjoyable to grow slowly and steadily and more importantly enjoy what you do every day. More importantly I would like to expand the business to countries like US & Canada in the coming years and to provide employment opportunities to fresh graduates with lot of energy.

9) If you were Prime Minister, what one aspect would you change?

You are joking … That’s never happening. I just can’t limit to one thing, first and foremost a second Referendum on Brexit and more importantly create an education system where the youngsters are taught about managing their finances at an early age and the importance of technology which needs to be taught from a very nascent stage at schools. I will subsidise the University fees for all to give them stress free study life.

10 If you were marooned on a desert island, which historical figure would you like to spend your time with and why?

Mahatma Gandh, being global icon and for his simplicity. Gandhiji believed in devoting one’s life to helping others. This I find very touching and inspirational, it’s always a privilege to give. Also Shri Amitabh Bachchan one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian Cinema. I am sure if either of the above two personalities are with me, life will automatically move into the so called desert island.
