Kiera Hubbard is an associate for FM Products and a full-time mother to her 3 year old daughter Eliza. Kiera has a very hectic schedule, and like many young mothers she tries to live a balanced work life and a home life.

1. Which place, or city or country do you most feel at home in? (50 words response)

I was brought up in a small town and my childhood consist of memories in the countryside. I feel safe and almost as if I’m free from the busy city work life. I love a good run during sunset in the fields.

2. What are your proudest achievements? (50 words response)

When I gave birth to my daughter Eliza. I’m sure all Mums can agree to this, it’s a beautiful achievement. Especially at 18!

3. What inspires you? (50 words response)

My daughter plays a massive role in my inspiration. Her innocence and child like responses has helped me solve some challenging tasks in my work role.

4. What has been biggest obstacle in your career? (50 words response)

Trying to juggle a sales associate role whilst being a full-time Mum was a challenging obstacle as my customers required a certain level of service and attention and so did my young daughter. However, being consistent with everything I did help me overcome this.

5. Who has been the biggest influence on your career to date? (50 words response)

The FM community I am in, has influenced my role a lot as all the girls and I are like one big family. We talk every day, sharing ideas and helping each other overcome tasks. They have played a big part in how quickly I have succeeded in my sales associate role.

6. What is the best aspect about your current role? (50 words response)

Being able to communicate and fulfil my orders all through the touch of my phone is one of the perks of my sales associate role. I can switch into work mode wherever I want at any time but also switch off at a click of a button.

7. And the worst? (50 words response)

It can be a challenge during some weeks to meet personal goals and sales due to no fault of your own so the role always keeps you thinking of new ideas on how to satisfy the sale numbers.

8. What are your long term goals? (50 words response)

To be able to build a team within my company structure so that my tasks and responsibilities are shared, and I can then concentrate on the more logistic side of the business and adapt new selling ideas and reach out to a more open clientele. I would also like to take on the role as a mentor for those that sign up and help them with their new start-up business to a successful start.

9. If you were Prime Minister, what one aspect would you change? (50 words response)

Re-structure the healthcare system to fit better in today’s society.

10. If you were marooned on a desert island, which historical figure would you like to spend your time with and why. (50 words response)

Queen Victoria would be my ideal historical figure as she was the 19th century most powerful ruler.
