1) What is your current position?
I am playing for AC Milan in Italy. Milan is a great city and I am learning the Italian language as well. I am also focussing on my humanitarian work. It is fulfilling to be able to make a difference in the lives of others. I also enjoy spending time with my family and it’s a joy to see the kids grow and be able to converse with.

2) What are your proudest achievements?
Winning the English Premier League trophies. It was always a dream to win this particular trophy and when the moment came, it was truly a very proud moment of my life.

3) What inspires you?
My desire to give 100% in everything I do inspires me to achieve what I set out to do. Whether it’s playing football, undertaking charitable activities or simply being a good person, I try to give 100% and that always inspires me. I hate to give less than that. I guess it’s my competitive nature.

4) What has been the biggest obstacle in your career?
That will be my injuries I endured at Chelsea. It is always difficult to sit on the side lines during rehab not being able to help a team you love win trophies.

5) Who has been the biggest influence on your career to date?
Jose Mourinho

6) What is the best aspect about your current role?
As a player, I enjoy bringing my many years of experience and giving my best to support the Milan team whenever I am called to play. As a humanitarian, our current campaign UnitedAgstEbola which seeks to raise funds to educate the entire West Africa about the Ebola disease to avoid more epidemic in the region and save lives both in west Africa and the world at large is one that I take very seriously and enjoy campaigning to make a difference in the lives of others. As a father, I enjoy spending time and taking care of my family whenever I can

7) And the worst?
Being engrossed in the Ebola campaign, it is heart breaking to see many deaths especially amongst helpless children. As a father, this is really unbearable and spurs me on to knock on as many doors to help save lives today and in future.

8) What are your long term goals?
When my career is over someday, I hope to focus more on my humanitarian work as well as work in the football industry in some capacity.

9) If you were Prime Minister, what one aspect would you change?
Aid for Africa. To ensure it is distributed effectively and to the right people to make a real difference in the lives of many sufferers on the continent.

10) If you were marooned on a desert island, which historical figure would you like to spend your time with and why?
Nelson Mandela – I like what he stands for as a person and his philosophies and his life story will be encouraging and will give me hope in a place like that
