“Humanist” seeking asylum rejected

It is said that a Pakistani man, Hamza bin Walayat, who is claiming asylum in the UK on the grounds that he has rejected his Islamic faith and become a humanist has had his application by the Home Office as he failed to identify Plato and Aristotle as humanist Philosophers. He said he has allegedly received death threats from family members and faces persecution if he is forced to leave the UK to return to Pakistan.
