World's Largest Lohana Corporate Event: Africa Calling

Shree Lohana Mahaparishad will host Lohana International Business Forum (LIBF) - 2023 from 19th to 22nd March 2023. The venue will be the famous Speke Resort & Conference Centre, Munyonyo, Kampala, Uganda. Africa Calling will be the forum's main theme, and it will discuss business and investment prospects in East Africa and promote cross-border trade in goods and services.

The Lohana International Business Forum is an initiative to bring together Lohana enterprises and discuss market prospects as well as to help businesses understand the fiscal and regulatory environments of participating nations. It will offer a unique platform for the business stakeholders to synergize in order to grow & strengthen the global Lohana Businesses and Industries. Delegates will have a platform during the Forum to advocate for their brands among African businesses.

This four-day High-Level Lohana International Business Forum will bring together Lohana Businesses of Uganda and other African nations, public sector agencies, Shree Lohana Mahaparishad Member Organisations, consulates, private sector trade institutions, business associations and Chamber of Commerce, financial and non-financial intermediaries, investors, development partners and donor agencies, academia and the civil society to connect, share experiences, and gain knowledge from one another. The forum is expected to gather more than 500 attendees from 10 different nations. More than 100 investment projects will be showcased and 15+ panel discussions will be held which focuses on key sectors such as Agriculture & Agri-Business, Industry & Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, Infrastructure & Energy, and ICT & Creative Industries. To focus on how to trade with Africa and other markets, there will be specific workshops and side events. There will be one-on-one meetings set up between African and other businesses, investors, and stakeholders.

Shree Lohana Mahaparishad, President Satish Vithalani said, “Amongst the top 20 fastest-growing economies of the world, 10 are African nations. Among these economies with rapid growth are those in East Africa. Tanzania has seen growth of 4.9%, Kenya of 5.5%, Uganda of 7% in the past, DRC is predicted to grow by 6.3%, and Rwanda has seen growth of 7.2%. Africa has the youngest population in the world with 70% of sub-Saharan Africa under the age of 30. With an abundance of precious metals and rising oil and mineral finds, Africa is also one of the continents with the biggest natural resource reserves in the world. Beyond the potential listed above, Africa also boasts a fantastically large Indian diaspora, which might serve as a link for expanding and developing enterprises. This forum will provide a high-level platform for Global Lohana Community as well as public-private dialogue and structured networking.”
