Anisa Karolia is one of the UK's most popular Muslim food bloggers, sharing all of her favourite authentic recipes since 2015. She has a community of over 240,000 followers worldwide and was a British Muslim Award winner for digital activity in 2020. Through her various platforms, Anisa's mission is to share quick and easy recipes, and she especially loves to share those all-time family favourites that she enjoyed growing up eating.

Food Blogger Anisa Karolia grew up in a family of foodies, and her earliest, fondest memories are of walking into the kitchen after school and asking her mum what she was cooking. Anisa started her blog and YouTube Channel, Cook with Anisa, after the birth of her third child as a way of sharing her favourite authentic family recipes, and inspiring a new generation to learn how to make delicious home-cooked food, particularly during Ramadan.

For Anisa, Ramadan is about self-reflection, charity, sacrifice, family and thinking of those less fortunate. Food also plays a huge part of Ramadan as Muslims around the world abstain from eating between sunrise and sunset, starting the day with the pre-dawn meal of suhoor, then spending time in the kitchen, usually with family members, preparing something for the evening.

In her first book, The Ramadan Cookbook, Anisa shares recipes that can be enjoyed throughout Ramadan, from filling early morning meals for Suhoor, to hearty and satisfying meals for Iftar, as well as dishes made for celebrating with friends and family during Eid al-Fitr. With all the accompanying salads, chutneys, breads, drinks and desserts you'll need, this book has all the most popular Ramadan dishes covered.

The family-friendly, flavourful, fuss-free recipes in The Ramadan Cookbook can be enjoyed at any time of year, and Anisa includes plenty of batch-cooking ideas you can make in advance and freeze until required, to help you prepare for Ramadan, Eid or your everyday cooking.
