A 17 year old was severely knifed in a daytime attack in a busy north London high street. Witnesses describing the incident said the victim fled into a nearby cash and carry after being attacked by a gang of youths.

Ghanshyam Boricha, 26, saw a group of teenagers attack the boy before he fled into a shop for help. “The guy who got stabbed was a teenager. He tried to run from there into Malar Cash and Carry and then the police arrived.” Paramedics and police officials rushed to High Road, Wembley, following reports of a stabbing. A Met Police spokesman said the group is currently being held at a north London police station.
