Soldiers being offered support branch roles

Britain: Commanders are in need of an extra 200 military clerks per year to deal with problems with troops' pay and allowance.

Soldiers are being offered a bonus of £4,000 to withdraw from frontline duties and become a clerk in the army.

Those who accept the money must then work in the staff and personnel support branch for a minimum of two years.
