Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, the head of Gurukul Parivar- Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam (SGVP) made a special visit to Rayners Lane on 27 June 2024. In a social get-together at Vishwa Umiya Foundation UK’s Convenor and OFBJP UK - Gujarat Convenor Deepak Patel’s residence, he said that the ancient Gurukul education was the most successful way of educating a society. The ancient Gurukul education was about earning and learning morals and duties and the word Veda means knowledge.
CB Patel was the special guest of the evening. He said, there is a need to encourage the Gurukul system outside India as well. The whole concept of Gurukul education was for the betterment of the world.
