A 30 year old man of the British Armed Forces has been arrested for alleged terror offences. Held in Somerset by Met counter-terrorism officers for being involved in preparing terrorist acts, the man was later taken to a west country police station.
The arrest was pre-planned and conducted in a joint investigation with the Police Service of Northern Ireland and South West Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit, as per the Scotland Yard.
