The nine days Ram Katha by Pujya Morari Bapu which was organised in campus of one of the oldest and most prestigious Jesus College, Cambridge University, concluded on Sunday 20 August 2023. During the final day of the Katha, Morari Bapu said, “Ramkatha teaches us the real values of humanity. Remembering Ram is truth, reciting the name of Ram is love and listening to the Ram Katha is compassion. The Ram Katha is for people and it’s the inner desire expressed by people. This is the aspiration for our existence.”

Pujya Bapu while spreading the essence of the Ram Katha said, good people and pure thoughts can unite the entire world. “Ramcharit Manas is my world. In the last 41 days, I spoke for 31 days and travelled around 52,000 kilometres. This is my world; I wander within it and this world is also a universal university."

When belief is as high as the Himalayas, it can transform one's entire life

Bapu said, “The significance of fortune and its influence can often surpass the effort invested when undertaking any task. Faith is the key to achieve success. When belief is as high as the Himalayas, it can transform one's entire life. In this world, the association with saints is essential to eradicate any disease. When one follows the path of virtue, even animals and birds come along, but if one walks on the path of unrighteousness, even their own companions abandon them.”

Hanumanji always remains as the shield of happiness

Pujya Morari Bapu emphasised during his recital that whatever is lost will be found. For example, peace. Peace resides within us, but we look for it in the outer world. Sorrow is like a costume, not meant to be worn permanently, just like festive attire. While Ravan had gold, he did not have love, thus his intellect and character deteriorated. During our happy days, Hanumanji consistently remains with us.  Similarly, in times of difficulties and life-threatening situations, Hanumanji comes forward to protect us. The meaning of "Setu" is to unite everyone, and the meaning of "Sangam" is the welfare of the world.

Convocation Ceremony: Recites 27 sutras, remembers CB Patel

“It’s the convocation ceremony of Manas Vishwavidhyalaya, on this concluding day of the Ram Katha. Today, everyone will receive these two degrees from Manas Vishwavidhyalaya: 'Tears' and 'Shelter'. Dakshina represents the domain of bestowing knowledge. And it is written in the Bhagavad Gita that knowledge is meant to be shared with all,” said Morari Bapu, who then recited the 27 sutras.

During the Katha, Morari Bapu also remembered CB Patel fondly. In his own distinctive style, he mentioned about Mother Mary, Mahatma Gandhi, Zaverchand Meghani, Chandrakant Bakshi, Umashankar Joshi, and even mentioned about Asha Parekh. He praised the "My Soil, My Country (Meri Mitthi, Mera Desh)" campaign and Chandrayaan project which is a source of pride for India.

A logo with the symbol of Gir lion and cow, was accepted

Bapu added that “When Dolarbhai became a Lord, Pavan told me that, they have the freedom to have their own logo. I made a logo with a Gir Lion on one side and a Gir cow on the other. In the centre, I placed Chitrakoot Hanumanji and below added ‘Truth, Love, and Compassion’ (Satya, Prem, Karuna). This logo was accepted. Including CB, many elders are sitting here. I have visited Britain many times. Everyone tells me, Bapu, you come and give a lecture in the Parliament. I reply to them I don’t want to come, just see my logo.”

This Ramkatha event was organised by the Lord Dolar Popat family and under the leadership of Pavan Popat along with the support of the youngster in Britain.
