Prince William and Kate Middleton 's royal wedding was a joyous day for Brits and people all over the world, but not least William's grandparents - the Queen and Prince Philip. They beamed with pride as they watched their grandson, who is second in line for the throne, tie the knot with his university girlfriend Kate.
Wills and Kate were joined by their families and many celebrity and VIP guests, while millions tuned in live, to see the momentous occasion unfold at London's Westminster Abbey. Fortunately, the day went perfectly, and even the Queen was impressed, turning to Prince Philip after the ceremony to say "it was excellent," a lip reader has confirmed.
However, there was one element of the day that she wasn't a fan of, after a lip reader confirmed her disapproving remarks to her husband."I wanted them to take the smaller carriage," she said, before Camilla jumped in and said: "It all went very well."
