Private school puts aspiring pupils through 6-hour interview

A top private school has introduced a six-hour interview process for children to help teachers see the individual qualities of applicants who have been highly tutored.

According to Wellington College, it gave pupils time to relax, set aside their “tutored selves” and show as many facets of their personalities as possible. It not only allows teachers to spot intellectually curious children with academic potential but also “well-rounded” children, a report in The Daily Telegraph said.
