Prince Harry's engagement to Meghan Markle has undoubtedly created a frenzy across the UK and people are now waiting with great excitement for the Royal wedding. The official announcement has been made that Prince Harry and Meghan will be tying the knot on Saturday 19th May 2018.

The Royal wedding of the year will be taking place at the St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. However, Prince Harry's elder brother, the Duke of Cambridge, may have to leave the wedding early despite being extremely close to his sibling. Reason for his early exit from the wedding is because Prince William is the president of the Football Association (FA) and as part of his duties, he hands over the trophy to the winning team's captain every year. And the wedding is set on the same day as the FA Cup final.

A statement from Kensington Palace announced, “We have not gone into the timing of the wedding but made it clear that the wedding and the FA Cup final will not clash.”

The most anticipated wedding will be taking place in the morning in Windsor, while the FA Cup final will be starting at 5:30pm in Wembley, giving the Duke of Cambridge ample time to celebrate his brother's wedding and then making his way down to London.
