Police pay telecoms £37m to access customers' details

It has been disclosed that the British police forces have allegedly paid telecoms companies over £37 million in order to access personal details and call records of customers since 2008.

It has also emerged that about 34 police forces and authorities had allegedly paid up to £7 million in 2014, and companies such as Virgin media and Vodafone are among those companies that were asked to share users' details.
