Pinner Wood School SATs annulled after errors

A primary school had a set of SATs results annulled after an investigation uncovered administrative errors. Former Year 6 pupils at Pinner Wood School, in Harrow, will see their July results removed from the record after the Standards and Testing Agency found evidence of “maladministration”.

The school pointed out that the children affected will not be disadvantaged during their secondary education and they will have the chance to prove themselves again during their GCSEs.

Head teacher Sarah Marriott said she will take any advice on board and assured those associated with the school that it will continue to operate at the highest standard.

Pinner Wood was forced to temporarily relocate after a chalk mine was discovered underneath its site. It returned to Latimer Gardens in January.
