An assistant was threatened to be kidnapped if she refused to go on a date with her manager’s seven year old son. A pharmacist called Yaw Akuoko-Frem pong, who worked at Lloyds in Seaton, threatened his trainee who was in her mid 30s that if she wouldn’t go on a date with his seven year old son, he would dump her in a big black van and blind fold her. He claimed that the boy “loved her” and was going to book a date for them. When she refused, he manhandled her and alleged that she had promised to marry his son. He physically abused her by pulling her hair and making her sit on her knees. The pharmacist denied that he had failed his profession. The council has decided not to strike him off de - spite his “deplorable” behaviour because he had worked to remedy his past behaviours. He was ordered to attend training on “professional boundaries'' and has been banned from working as a mentor or supervisor.
