Pratik Dattani, who was the UK director of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), stepped down after being in this role for 3 years. Dattani is also the managing director EPG. Dr. Param Shah has been appointed as the new UK director for FICCI.
Param Shah was the Head of FICCI- Gujarat State Council in India. He was on the Central Regional Committee of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
He carries with him over 15 years of professional work experience. He started his career as an Academic and was associated with various Universities in India as a Faculty in Finance and Corporate Laws. He has been an academic advisor to the ICFAI University. He is an Alumnus of prestigious International Visitor Leadership Programme (ILVP) by the U.S. Department of State. It is U.S. Government’s most prestigious professional exchange programs since 1940 for international opinion leaders.
Param Shah has about 40 papers on various aspects of Management and other economic issues to his credit. He holds a PhD in Management. He also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) specialising in International Marketing & Corporate Laws and a Masters in Commerce. He graduated in Law and Commerce. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights.
