Chancellor Philip Hammond has been banned by the Ministry of Defence from using their RAF aircrafts after a row between Hammond and the Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson intensified.
The Ministry of Defence has insisted that an outstanding bill of Hammond must be settle before he is allowed to fly the aircraft again.
The Chancellor uses BAE 146 jets and A109 helicopters from the squadron on official business. But it is alleged that officials who take VIP bookings for the aircraft have been informed not to accept any further requests from Hammond until he pays the bill.
It is said that the row between the Chancellor and Williamson erupted after Hammond allegedly stated that the Army could suffice with 50,000 soldiers, which is a cut of around 28,000 soldiers.
