Affluent families in Britain’s most prosperous areas are almost unscathed by divorce and single parenthood, according to the first marriage map of the country.
Nearly nine out of 10 parents from the top two socioeconomic groups are married in places such as Harrow, Wokingham and West Berkshire, where Pippa Middleton joined their ranks last Saturday.
