Many GPs unaware of drug's use in cutting cancer risk

A survey has indicated that family doctors are not offering at-risk patients a preventive breast cancer drug.

Only half of GPs are aware that drugs like tamoxifen can cut the risk of breast cancer by over a third, a poll of almost 1,000 doctors found.
