The counter-terrorism police in Greater Manchester have arrested two other men in connection with the bomb attack on Manchester Arena on Monday. The latest arrests were made as the Greater Manchester police stopped sharing information about the investigation with the US. With certain leaks of key evidence in the United States, British officials were particularly infuriated when a popular media source published forensic photographs of sophisticated bomb parts. They fear that that it could complicate their investigation.

Following the latest meeting of emergency committee, Cobra, Prime Minister Theresa May said, “I will make clear to President Trump that intelligence shared between our security agencies must remain secure.”

A series of raids in Manchester, Wigan, and Nuneaton, Warwickshire were conducted on Wednesday. Relatives of the suicide bomber, Salman Abedi, 22, have been detained in Libya. His father Ramadan Abedi was arrested in Tripoli, along with Hashim, who Libyan security forces said was “aware of all the details” of the attack. German authorities confirmed that Salman flew to the German city of Düsseldorf, mere four days prior to the attack. The region is known to be home to hundreds of people considered security threats due to their close links to Islamist groups.

22 people died, most of them children, and over 64 injured in the attack at an Ariana Grande concert. All deceased have been identified by the police and their families have been informed. Injured children undertaking treatment at the Royal Manchester children’s hospital will be visited by the Queen soon.
