A former security guard has been jailed for throwing dog to its death from a seventh floor window after the neighbour he stole it from turned up at his door.
Mahmood Keshavarzi, 37, threw Zeus, an American bulldog 60 feet to the ground where the animal landed with a noise that sounded like two cars going into each other, witnesses said. He was jailed for 26 weeks and ordered to pay the family £800 in compensation.
