A man has been jailed for killing his older brother by strangling him and leaving his body undiscovered for a week at the family home in London’s East End.
Juhel Ahmed, 30, was found guilty of murdering 36-year-old Ruhel Ahmed at their flat in Stepney’s Timor House in Duckett Street. He was jailed for life yesterday at the Old Bailey and ordered to serve a minimum of 12 years after being found guilty at his trial on Friday.
Ruhel’s body was discovered in the bedroom when police and paramedics were called to the flat on September 3.
