Maharashtra Mandal London hosts Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations

Maharashtra Mandal London has hosted its 27th Ganeshotsav celebrations recently. More than 300 members of the community visited Mandal on the first day of installation. Sunday, 27th August saw Atharvaseersha chanting and children's talent showcase 'Bal Darbaar' being organised as part of the festivities. About 20 children from as young as 22 months showcased their talent in singing, artistic yoga, dancing and shloka rendition.

They included Aditya Ravinder, Ananya Vichare, Anisha Ghag, Ananya Pawar, Aarya Tarhalkar,Atharva Juvekar, Ira Inamdar, Ishwar Sharma, Juhi Ranade, Kaavyajhari Rapatwar, Panshul Karri, Reyansh Chimbalkar, Ridhaan and Rhythm Gala, Sanvika, Siya Panchkhede, Talluru Nitalaksh and Yash Bartakke.   

Dr Vishwanath, who accompanied Ishwar Sharma on Artistic Yoga shared with audiences on how important it is to include yoga in the routine.  The program was hosted by Shivangi Gokhale,, designed by Ragasudha Vinjamuri and supported by  President Sushil Rapatwar and Vice-President Ajinkya Bhave. 

The celebrations shall have a communal Antakshari competition on Friday, 1st September, a Maharashrian Cultural showcase on 2nd September  attended by DEputy Mayor of London Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Atharvaseersha Sahastravartan on and musical rendition on 3rd September, concluding on 5th September with the procession and Visarjan of the deity.
