The Labour peer, Lord Janner of Braunstone (87), who is accused of child sex offences will not face trial until February 2016.
22nd February has been set as a provisional trial date by justice Sweeney at a preliminary hearing.
Greville Janner suffers from advanced dementia. The judge has also marked out the date of 7th December for a hearing on whether Janner will be fit enough stand trial.
