Latest government statistics highlight that approximately 90 people in Harrow and Brent have died from drug related issues between 2016-18.
The latest figures showed 52 people in the region died from drug poisoning, while 37 died due to drug misuse. More than 2,000 people in London suffered drug-related deaths during this timeframe, but the statistics were comparatively low in these north-west boroughs. Harrow had the lowest number of drug poisoning deaths with 17 people only.
