Jameela Jamil, 32, has revealed to the Red Magazine how she struggled with her body image, in her initial career phase when her pictures were air-brushed.
“I was given a whiter face, a little English nose and perfect skinny thighs. It makes me feel gross. I still suffer from body dysmorphia” said the actress of South Asian origins.
At the age of 17 she was hit by a car and spent two years on complete bedrest and prescribed to steroids which along with her diet led to an increase of 5.5 stones of weight.
